Despite Suicide Squad's large second weekend drop, the film pulled in more than enough to hold off all newcomers for a second weekend at number one at the box office. Leading the weekend's new releases was Sony's R-rated animated comedy Sausage Party, which brought in an estimated $34 million dollars in box office reciepts.
