Taraji P. Henson Wears Crown on Cover of E.W.
Golden Globe winner, Taraji P. Henson, graces the cover Entertainment Weekly wearing a crown. After all, she is the "Queen" of her own Empire.
Inside the magazine she's featured in a really hot photo shoot and the Hollywood actress opens up about remaining humble since she debuted her role as Cookie Lyon on the hit FOX series, which is gearing up for it's third season.
Taraji has several new projects in the works, including her upcoming memoir “Around The Way Girl” (dropping October 11th), a new MAC cosmetics line and she’s gearing up for a lead role in Hidden Figures where she will play real-life NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson (due out in theaters January 13, 2017).
She tells EW, “This is my first time carrying a show and then going to carry a movie." “That’s a lot. It’s so stressful, and I had to really check myself because it’s so easy to take for granted when you get to a certain level. Like check yourself because people pray to be here.”
