"Uptown Funk" Hits Diamond Status
BRUNO MARS and MARK RONSON have achieved the rare "DIAMOND" status for the 2014 single “Uptown Funk.” THE RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA) certified the song DIAMOND, making it just the 13th song to be awarded that status.
The DIAMOND Award recognizes albums or singles that have sold 10 million or more copies, and outranks GOLD and PLATINUM status.
