Evelyn Lozada Legally Has to Give Back $1.4 Mil Engagement Ring, But Says She Won’t
According to TMZ, in California an engagement ring is considered a conditional gift with the condition being that you have to get married. If you don’t get married you have to give the ring back. Yet even though Evelyn Lozada and former LA Dodger Carl Crawford aren’t getting married she says she isn’t giving the ring back.
Sources close to Lozada tell TMZ … Crawford ain’t getting it back, period.
She’s planning on keeping the ring in a safe and passing it on to her kids one day. And at this point, she’s not expecting Carl to put up a fight. The former MLB player once signed a $142 million contract with the Dodgers, so losing the $1.4 million dollar ring shouldn't cause him much hardship.
