ACRIMONY Has Reason to Celebrate
Actress Ptosha Storey had a weekend to remember as she celebrated her first feature film role with family and friends at The Alamo Drafthouse in Dallas. The Texas native came home for a private viewing of Acrimony in her hometown and the weekend saw a strong second place debut for Lionsgate's Acrimony, the latest film from Tyler Perry. The movie opened with an estimated $17.1 million in box office reciepts. The films opening was enough to knock Black Panther down to the #3 spot but not enough to beat the #1 movie this weekend, Ready Player One, which opened with $53 million in it's four day opening debut.
