The Meg #1 at Box Office

The Meg was #1 at the box office this weekend beating out the latest Mission Impossible sequel with $44.5 million in receipts vs $20 million for Mission Impossible: Fallout. Meanwhile Spike Lee's Blackkklansman, which received high grades from audience members leaving the theater, performed better then predicted. Blackkklansman finished the weekend in 5th place with $10.7 million dollars.
